Addyson Parish

Haliburton Highlands Secondary School athlete Addyson Parish can jump! She won the gold medal Triple Jump in 2024 at the Legion National Youth Track and Field Championship in Calgary. She has competed in relay and hurdles, as well, but she prefers the individual challenge of jumping where she doesn’t have to wait for the starter’s pistol.  Addyson also played for the Red Hawks Volleyball team who made it into the 2025 COSSA regional finals.

In 2025, Addyson led the Red Hawks track and field team with three first-place COSSA finishes, including new COSSA records in the Junior Girls Long Jump and Triple Jump and a personal best in the the 80 metre hurdles to take her third COSSA gold.

Competing in the OFSAA Track and Field Championships in June, 2025, Addy consistently passed the 11-meter mark and won a silver medal. She also competed in the Junior Girls Long Jump, finishing tenth in Ontario.

Addyson is recognized by her coaches as very committed athlete who is always open to constructive feedback. She hopes to focus on sports as a career in the future.
